Quest'anno la Dante di Auckland ha celebrato la Festa della Liberazione come ospite della Italy Star Association a Kinder House. Il 25 aprile è, infatti, anche il giorno in cui Nuova Zelanda e Australia celebrano Anzac Day.
Fra i presenti due veterani della campagna d'Italia, Les Andrews e John Catwe, e numerosi familiari dei soldati neozelandesi che hanno combattuto in Italia. Alessandra Zecchini ha ringraziato Gary Russell, presidente della Italy Star NZ, per aver invitato la Dante e la comunità italiana a celebrare questa importante data per entrambi i paesi.
