In the city of Mantova, Rigoletto helps his master, the Duke, to seduce young women. He mocks their husbands and fathers until a curse is placed on both. The cards then turn on the table and the Duke seduces Gilda, Rigoletto's daughter. Revenge seems to be the only solution for the jester, but when Gilda falls in love with the Duke things don't go exactly like planned."

Saturday 26 May from 10am at the Dante Alighieri Society in Auckland, Freemans Bay Community Centre, 52 Hepburn Rd. Freemans Bay, Auckland.
