Ciao a tutti,
Vi ricordiamo la nostra Colazione, sabato 26 ottobre, a partire dalle 10.
Bruno Ferraro ci parlerà di varie ricorrenze legate al mese di ottobre, tra cui:
6 ottobre : San Bruno
Bruno of Cologne (German: Bruno von Köln; Italian Bruno di Colonia; c. 1030 –
6 October 1101), venerated as Saint Bruno, was the founder of the
Carthusian Order. He personally founded the order's first two communities. He
was a celebrated teacher at Reims, and a close advisor of his former pupil,
Pope Urban II.
12 ottobre:
1492 is of enormous significance in Western history: It is the day
when explorer Christopher Columbus completed his journey across the Atlantic
Ocean and landed in the “New World.” What Columbus actually reached on
that October day was an island he named San Salvador that is now part of the
Bahamas.
Bruno ci parlerà dell'opera di
Dario Fo: "
Johan Padan a la Descoverta de le Americhe" (1992).
"Johan Padan and the Discovery of the Americas" is a one-man play by Dario Fo,
recipient of the 1997 Nobel Prize in Literature. It is narrated by Johan Padan, a
fugitive from the Spanish Inquisition who accompanies Christopher
Columbus on his fourth voyage to the New World.
