Gli studenti del corso intensivo raccontano

From the 22nd to the 26th of January The Dante Auckland held its popular Summer Intensive Course, hosting many new students, but also several affezionati, Italian language students that have been attending the one week long course for years.

Lessons, games, Italian food and fun! Scroll down to see some photos (by Barbara) and read the feedback form four of our students (some in Italian).

erano bravissimi.  Erano molto accoglienti e amichevoli e il cibo ogni
giorno era buonissimo.  Sicuramente  vale la pena per me andare
da Timaru ad Auckland per frequentarla.  Bravi tutti!
Un abbraccio
Liz

Cara Sandra
Grazie a te
Dorotea

This was my second Summer School and above all I enjoyed the atmosphere created by the teachers and helpers~ active, happy, relaxed and supportive.

Mel Rowsell

Grazie a tutti e ci vediamo al prossimo corso intensivo!

Art workshop at the Dante

Italiano e Attività Artistiche. Workshops with Silvia Randi.

For this month only we are offering Friday workshops with Silvia Randi, an Italian Architect and Teacher.
Silvia completed training in Anthroposophical Art Therapy in Florence at “Scuola di Luca” and in Stroud (UK) at “Hibernia School of Art”.
She has then gained a vast experience running artistic and art therapy courses applying her skills with both children and adults.
Silvia has also taught children with special needs in Italy and GCSE and A level students in the UK.

These Fridays workshops are created for children (ages 6 - 10) and teenagers (ages 10 – 15) and are an exciting opportunity to learn Italian trough an artistic experience.
The Class will start by reading an Italian short story or poem. Students will then paint the emotions they felt during the reading - using the wet-on-wet watercolour technique.
A very satisfying artistic experience, also suitable for beginners.

Every Friday from 8th November, 4pm to 5.15 at the Dante Rooms
Cost per lesson: $10 Dante members, $15 non-members, all materials included
