Two imagined and never sent letters recount memories of two women’s shared youth spent at a girls’ boarding school.
2. Addio, ben trovati (Goodbye, Nice to See You Again) (dir Alfredo Arvalli)
Marcello returns to his hometown after years abroad to discover that places, people, and even he himself have irreversibly changed.
3. Caffè nero bollente (Piping Hot Black Coffee) (dir. Cinzia Pedrizzetti)
A young woman in prison searches for a way to rediscover trust, tenderness, and the beauty of being alive.
4. I fantasmi (The Ghosts) (dir. Federico Papagna)
In the Italian countryside, two teenagers and their friends are persistently searching for Luca with a plan to seek revenge on their peer.
5. Mambo Kids (dir. Emanuele Tresca)
On a quiet late-summer day, two boys seek out their city’s final mysteries: perched in a cherry tree until nightfall they watch friends drink beer, mopeds head home, and goodbyes unfold.
6. Via Bellezza 11 (dir. Giuseppe Cardaci)
The newcomer in an apartment building decides to teach her neighbors the importance of the concierge’s small, kind gestures and convinces them to come together to give him one last chance to win the ‘Best Concierge in Italy’ award.
7. Vista mare (Sea View) (dir. Nicola Bartoleschi, Nicoletta Busto, Emanuele Ricciardi)
A charming Italian village, nestled betweeen sea and mountains, is overrun every summer by hordes of tourists hungry for “authenticity”. Between selfies, spaghetti binges, yachts, and fires the picturesque village is transformed into a grotesque Meditererranean theme park. But something is about to give.
